Things like pasta, stir fries, salads and ready prepared vegetables can be made in no time at all. When you plan ahead on a weekly basis, thing will go smoothly. You have to know what you are going to have for dinner, otherwise you may not have the ingredients available. You also have to plan something with a little variety because this makes it more interesting.

Instead of using white sauce or cream, you can try using Greek yogurt. This can work very well when you mix it with a lot of other spices. It is a lot easier to make and it means you don't have to stand over the stove stirring the lumps out of your sauce. This will basically take a few minutes to get together, along with a nice salad.

Pastas can come in the form of linguine or spaghetti which are cooked in a tomato sauce. You can also use Greek yogurt which is low in calories. You can make a bolognaise and serve this with a salad which is more creative and easy to make. There are other pastas to make which come with vegetables, such as butternut squash and spinach as well as avocado.

There are many different types of stir fries to make, so you can be creative and experiment with various recipes. You don't always have to use chicken or beef with a couple of vegetables. You can add in a couple of chickpeas. You can add in nuts. A touch of organic peanut butter will make a lovely sauce.

Minestrone can also be easy to make because the soup doesn't have to cook away for hours and hours. The spaghetti will help thicken up the dish. The tomato that you use will also add bulk. You can use a variety of vegetables which are already prepared and this leaves you with less to do. Minestrone is always tasty.

Always have supplies ready available. It means you don't have to run to the store at the last minute. When you are tired you don't particularly want to do your grocery shopping after you have been shopping all day. You need to know what you are going to be cooking.

A one pot meal of rice mixed with chicken and vegetables, mixed in with a low fat sauce can work very well. This can be served with a lot of different vegetables. When you have mixed everything together, simply place the pan in the oven. It is a good idea to have the right equipment because this will save you a lot of frustrations at the end of the day as well.
